problem changing channels

hello,

I have a problem with changing channels. I'm doing automated stress test that change configuration from channel to another one.

when I change channel in my Gateway, I always must unload and load zd1211rw.ko.

 

Loading and unloading module (with 5 seconds between the tow tasks) causes me a material crash (PC does not respond and leds in keyborad still flashing.

I have a ubuntu 7.10 kernel 2.6.22-14-generic installed on a NEC PC with 2Go memory and Processor Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E4500 2.20Ghz.

 

Note that this problem does not occurs with a PC that have a CPU more than 3.4Ghz.
