problems with reconiciling account in 0.9.3

I now have several accounts I have reconcilied several times each, but
when I restart KMM, it says never reconciled.  I noticed that if I
reconcile, it doesn't let me save, but even if I make some other change
and then reconcile, it doesn't seem to remember.  Also, many times I
have tried to reconcile, that menu item is grayed out, and I have to
save, close, and reopen to get it to allow me to reconcile.  Is this a
known issue (I've searched, and not found anything) or should I report
to the developers?

Jack

Did you ever press the 'Finish reconciliation' button (or used the
Account/Finish menu item)? Only in this case the reconciliation is finished
and get stored in the file. Did you read
http://kmymoney2.sourceforge.net/online-manual/details.reconcile.html ?

Finishing the wizard actually starts the reconciliation. While reconciling an
account, you should see two more buttons in the area between the ledger and
the transaction form, where those buttons to create / edit a transaction are.

One is labeled "Finish reconciliation" which executes the same action as the
"Account/Finish" menu entry.

Windows is not the answer. It's the question. The answer is no!

I had noticed the postpone and finish menu items, but I had not noticed
the buttons on the screen, which I now see quite clearly.  I think my
real job now is to follow up on an earlier suggestion that I contribute
to the documentation.  I think I had been looking for the finish and
postpone buttons on the reconcile wizard screen, not on the ledger.
The docs don't really make it sufficiently clear that you have to
complete the clearing of transactions AFTER you complete the wizard,
and THEN "finish" the process.

Thanks for the great support for a great product.

Jack

I went through the documentation myself and have to admit, that it is a bit
unclear. Needs new screenshots also. In case you want to have something
added, please take a look at

http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=69&t=39132&start=30

where we currently collect additions to the documentation.
