production mode - trapped fatal error

Dear Friends,
I got the following error when open web installer interface.

"production mode - trapped fatal error"

Following is the Koha error log,

[Fri Nov 06 22:19:29 2009] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] [Fri Nov  6 22:19:29 2009] mainpage.pl: Compilation failed in require at /usr/share/koha/intranet/cgi-bin/mainpage.pl line 23.
[Fri Nov 06 22:19:29 2009] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] [Fri Nov  6 22:19:29 2009] mainpage.pl: BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/share/koha/intranet/cgi-bin/mainpage.pl line 23.

My OS is Ubuntu Hardy.
I successfully installed Koha 3.03 earlier.
I tried the Koha 3.04 installation after the complete removal of 3.03 installation.
