providing extension-points for deploy-events

Hi,

may I draw your attention on http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MRM-1256 which I just created.
Not sure how it's for other users, but our repos keep on blowing up in a size that is not reasonable.

I understand that in times of TB-HDs, this should not be an issue. But we are using HA-SAN-volumes that are pretty expensive and we are in need of controlling the disk-space consumed by the Archiva-repos.

I'd appeciate if this issue could be scheduled for v. 1.2.3.
I will be glad to help implementing it, as time permits.
