In the screen shots of PWGL in the current CMJ Spring 2009 article,
the text look crisper and the graphics more precise when compared
with the current release.

Has the graphics engine been improved or is the improved image of the
images a result of the printing process?

Thanks

A PWGL patch can be exported as EPS which results in a resolution
independent image. Unlike these files, PWGL itself uses a self-baked
font scheme that looks quite out-dated. This was, however, at the time
the only possibility to get fonts up and running in PWGL's OpenGL
interface.
I have a semi-experimental FTGL/freetype interface ready--which BTW
does not come without problems either--but it will most likely not be
included in PWGL in the very near feature. This would nevertheless
bring the quality of the fonts on the screen closer to what people are
used to and incidentally it would also allow the users to change the
fonts freely.

In short, what you see on the screen is different from what you see in
paper/exported image...

Good to hear that this will happen sometime.
Also the ability to customize fonts will be most welcome.

The edges of the graphics, eg. the sides of the boxes, tends to step
unevenly as the image is zoomed in and out.
Perhaps this could be addressed sometime.

One useful graphical feature would be to have an invisible coarse
snapping grid for all the boxes, so that they could easily be aligned
manually as they are created, rather than aligning them after they
have been placed with the current pixel accuracy.

Is there a frequency shifter (like a bode) or something similar in
the synth.
I looked and can't find anything that seems to perform such a function.

Is it possible to process MIDI note input and remap it to new note
values using a list in real time?

Thanks

Hello

Please advise if it is planned for PWGL to have support for OSC output
in the future.

Thanks
