pwgl-users: PWGL LibrariesDear all,
We are setting up a 'User Libraries' section in our web page ( http://www2.siba.fi/PWGL/downloads.html ). Here we wish to collect links to PWGL libraries developed by our users. If you have a library that you would like to share with the other users, send us a link and we will add it in the list. As a start we introduce a small and simple PWGL library aimed at reading SDIF files called... you got it... "SDIF" best regards, Mika Dr. Mika Kuuskankare Composer, programmer and researcher Centre for Music & Technology Sibelius Academy Henkilökohtainen postiosoite/Personal post address PL 342 - PO Box 342 FIN-00121 Helsinki, FINLAND Mobile: +358 (0)40 5415 233 (Finland) Skype: mkuuskan personal home page: www.siba.fi/~mkuuskan project home page: www.siba.fi/PWGL |

Re: pwgl-users: PWGL LibrariesThat is really nice!
I was planning to write something like that... (until now I was translating Spear texts). It is also very good to have a place where we can share our libraries... What about to create also a "patch" place? I hope to contribute soon... josé Mika Kuuskankare escreveu: > Dear all, > > We are setting up a 'User Libraries' section in our web page ( > http://www2.siba.fi/PWGL/downloads.html ). Re: pwgl-users: PWGL LibrariesHalo,
I tried to install the library but unfortunately it didn't work. I installed first the developer tools 2.d (I run on a Tiger machine) and I got in the console the below message: ![]() can anyone help me? Greetings, Dimitris

Re: pwgl-users: PWGL LibrariesFirst of all, do not put user libraries inside the PWGL application
folder. pwgl-library is not meant for you users and the contents will be lost as soon as you download and install a new version of PWGL. As a general rule do not save *anything* inside the application folder. /Users/<yourname>/PWGL-User/User-library is for this purpose. Try this and see if it works. BTW, If I'm seeing correctly you have an extra space in PWGL. Why don't you remove it anyway. -Mika On 14.10.2009, at 23:12, dandriko wrote: > > Halo, > > I tried to install the library but unfortunately it didn't work. > I installed first the developer tools 2.d (I run on a Tiger > machine) and I > got in the console the below message: > > http://www.nabble.com/file/p25899139/Picture%2B2.png > > can anyone help me? > > Greetings, > > Dimitris > > Mika Kuuskankare wrote: >> >> Dear all, >> >> We are setting up a 'User Libraries' section in our web page ( >> http://www2.siba.fi/PWGL/downloads.html >> ). pwgl-users: language issuesHello PWGL developpers,
Is there some issues into PWGL for writing multi-language documentation, using some "balises" such as <multi> [en], [fi], [fr] etc or so? This seems to be very relevant for educational purposes... Also, can we expect some advance in fonts for characters with accents such as é, è, à, ù, ï ? (I still have some mis-representation in comment-boxes in OSX) Thank's, Fred Voisin |

pwgl-users: DBL to edit documentationHi,
Does it exist a DBL reference on internet, for editing my fv- morphologie documentation in PWGL : I expect some other features than the ones exposed in the shorty PWGL prog-ref "DBL_Language" are provided for page layout etc (DBL.g file does not exist: error in PWGL when cliking on the related link) ? Thank's, Fred |

Re: pwgl-users: DBL to edit documentationHi Fred,
I should revise the documentation... vocabulary.dbd seems to be more up to date... what kind of features are you looking for? -Mika On 7.11.2009, at 19:34, fred-com wrote: > Hi, > > Does it exist a DBL reference on internet, for editing my fv- > morphologie documentation in PWGL : I expect some other features > than the ones exposed in the shorty PWGL prog-ref "DBL_Language" are > provided for page layout etc (DBL.g file does not exist: error in > PWGL when cliking on the related link) ? > Thank's, > > Fred > Dr. Mika Kuuskankare Composer, programmer and researcher Centre for Music & Technology Sibelius Academy Henkilökohtainen postiosoite/Personal post address PL 342 - PO Box 342 FIN-00121 Helsinki, FINLAND Mobile: +358 (0)40 5415 233 (Finland) Skype: mkuuskan personal home page: www.siba.fi/~mkuuskan project home page: www.siba.fi/PWGL |

Re: pwgl-users: DBL to edit documentationHi Mika,
Actually, I don't look for sophisticated features but some to make my documentation more structured ; fv-morphologie lib requires explanations which may be included into the tutorial (more convenient when offline than using a website, some spots on earth have no internet)... So I'm actually looking if possible to: - change font size ; - bold, italic ; - change/have different fonts attributes for different sub-levels of sections (since it seems possible to have (sub-)sections into each section but these (sub-)sections make no difference with sections - 2 or 3 levels of sections would be enough) ; - tabs or some incrementation, for instance to make possible a kind of (free) enumeration where each item may include text, code, small picts (actually items may be only a string, I'd like for instance to include code and/or links into items, not ony strings of text)... Also, would it be possible to have a special link which open directly a PWGL patch when one clicks it ? Does DBL.g exist ? I googled DBL but I just found results for "double language"... is DBL a standart or particular to PWGL or Lispworks ? You can however, use instructions inside the strings to denote bold, italic etc. but these take effect only when exported, for example, to PDF. The idea is that if we are in the future able to show these also inside PWGL your work would not be wasted. Anyways, it doesn't do any harm... > - tabs or some incrementation, for instance to make possible a kind > of (free) enumeration where each item may include text, code, small > picts (actually items may be only a string, I'd like for instance > to include code and/or links into items, not ony strings of text)... Sure, I'll look into this. > > Does DBL.g exist ? I googled DBL but I just found results for > "double language"... is DBL a standart or particular to PWGL or > Lispworks ? Well, it seems to be missing of course... DBL as a language is something I have made so Googling does not really help. The DBL grammar (DBL.g) we put together with Kilian and I'm attaching it here. I did not check how accurate it is but it seems to be fairly recent. I would advice against using the 'documentAttributes' however, since the idea is that all PWGL documentation should have fairly uniform look. -Mika > > Thank's, > Fred > >

Re: pwgl-users: language issuesHello,
french characters with accents still cause troubles in PWGL: they seem OK in documentation part of PWGL patches, but they appear in a wrong way into comment boxes and they completely desappear in dbd files. I would also like to use cyrilic characters in both patchs and dbd files :) Please, is there an issue for this ?
