I'm sorry to insist on this question I am sure my last email was too
cunfusing. The question is: how to do a recursive abstraction on PWGL.

Thanks,

Luis

Hı Luis,

I can only respond to you from a holıday-computer - no PWGL ınstalled....
Actually, a recursive abstraction mıght currently be ımpossıble to do.
Do you absolutely need ıt? - How about doıng ıt ın lısp for the tıme beıng.

Hi Killian,
that's it. I couldn't find out how to do it in PWGL so I've done it in Lisp.
Gruss,
Luis

pwgl-users: synth-box

Hi everyone,

I have a problem with synth-box in file mode, my patch has some triggers so when I press "v" and then the triggers it never happens to get any sound file output, actually it has some audio file output but with no sound in.

Is it me who doesnt know how to use the synth box? or it doesnt work in a patch with triggers? (It can be the second since the file is created as soon as I press v)

thanks,

Josué

Hi Josué,

Just a quick answer to your question.
In file mode you should use an oscillator trigger in order to get
sound (see the attached patch).

For more advanced cases you could consider using scores to generate
triggering information.

We should add more tutorials for this topic.

Mikael

pwgl-users: PWGL user information

Dear users,

As some of you already know the PWGL project is mainly supported
financially by the Academy of Finland (the main governmental funding
body for scientific research in Finland). Thus our salaries and
expenses are covered with grants.

Now I am in the process of applying a new grant. For this I would like
to know how and for what purposes our software is used. Especially I
am interested if PWGL is used pedagogically in institutions. If you
know such cases or plans please send me directly (laurson@...) a
short description of this activity and the name and the address of the
institution. I would need this information within the next the week or
so.

Thanks for your cooperation.

Best regards,

Mikael

PS. Some people belonging to the PRISMA group (Jacopo, Örjan,
Johannes, Hans, Guilherme, etc.) have already given this information,
so they can skip this message.
