qemu-kvm glibc memory corruption?

Just curious if anyone else has ever seen qemu-kvm get
a glibc memory corruption error?

Seems to be related to the ubuntu virtual machine
specifically - my theory is ubuntu does some kind
of weird video mode twddling that affects it.
