question about sync beat and lfo sync

Hi,

I have a Nord Modular G2.

I am creating some sequenced patch.

I am using LFO to pitch up some osc (for example), put it on beat sync 64 (by turning the rate knob all the way to the left when its set to beat sync), hoping it would restart each 64 beats.

It does…

However, I want the lfo to start sync when I press play, therefore connected the lfo to the clock generators sync output, setting the clock generator to sync every 32.

That is actually the problem, because the lfo can sync every 64, and the clock generator causes it to restart on 32.

So I was trying to think how to multiple the 32 beat sync of the clock generator in 2, so it would sync every 64 fitting the lfo.

I tried using the multiplier but don’t know if that’s the way to do it.

The only work around I found until now was to use Logic to count 64 and ten send the proper midi CC to the modular.

Any ideas?

the clockdivider module can do the job...

in some cases you need to build a resetcircuit for the divider... but
usually it works without..to have a specific reset for the divider you
have a logic pulse module after the clock active out of the
clockgenerator and conect that pulse to the reset input of your sync
divider...
