question on gbrowse

question on gbrowse

Hi all,

i am now using GBROWSE to setup my geneome browse,

i use gbrowse 1.60,

there is a problem that when i want to see reads,i only can see the region but no AGCT on it ,can anyone give me some suggest?

Hi Tianjing,

First, think about upgrading your version of GBrowse to 1.70.  GBrowse
1.60 is very old.

Second, what does your configuration file look like for the Reads track?

thanks for replay,

i also think it is version problem, when i downgrading bioperl from 1.60 to 1.5.2_100,
 
it works!
