recovering deleted resourcesHas anybody done any work to facilitate the recovering of accidently deleted resources? I suppose ultimately we'd be looking for something that the site maintainer can use to recover such content but in the short term would be happy with a manual solution that meant that (somehow) the file could be recovered with elegance very much taking a back seat. As an analogy, I'd be happy with replacing the 'delete' command with a 'move' command. (I know this is not how it works but this is an indication of the kind of 'blunt' solution that would be OK for a few months whilst we work on something better.) Re: recovering deleted resourcesr56824 for SAK-1525, which builds on work at Indiana dating back to 2005, is a start. From what I've tested, it only works for file system storage so far, and there are a few other outstanding issues represented as sub-tasks. - Dan Adam Marshall wrote: > Has anybody done any work to facilitate the recovering of accidently > deleted > resources? > > I suppose ultimately we'd be looking for something that the site maintainer > can use to recover such content but in the short term would be happy with a > manual solution that meant that (somehow) the file could be recovered with > elegance very much taking a back seat. > > As an analogy, I'd be happy with replacing the 'delete' command with a > 'move' command.
