red5 video conferencing

Hi,

I want to write a video conferencing application using red5 and flex. I
need to store each session and also use encryption (SSL?) so the session
is secure.

Can someone please give me a top level idea of how to do this? In
particular, I'm not clear on how flex integrates with red5
