registration problem for removal from mailing list?I apologize for spamming the mailing list with this info, but I can't
figure out where to go to fix my issue. I've been subscribed to this mailing list for almost two years - back when the admin interface was mailman. At some point, Novell changed the admin interface, and now the URL http://forge.novell.com/mailman/listinfo/hula-general resolves to https://forge.novell.com/mailman/ICSLogin/?%22http://forge.novell.com/mailman/listinfo/hula-general%22 And requests that I log in with a Novell ID and password. I have no such account, and based on that I don't think that I can unsubscribe. Can anyone point me to how I can unsubscribe? Apologies for the lam3 luser SPAM. Thank you for your time. I logged in with my user and sent an unsubscribe confirm email to you, which you have probably already received. Bongo installation?Hi list,
Not sure whether this is the right place to ask, I'll risk the flaming and ask: How do you install Bongo? In my case on a SLES 10 server - actually running under XEN and x86_64. The instructions on the website aren't up to date, it appears. I can follow them so far: * Installation using YaST works fine. * I can run bongo-setup just fine - though creating the keys takes hours, litteraly, never seen it run so slow before. * When setup finishes, the fun begins with the message: # Bongo setup is complete! # Now run "bongo-config install" to complete the installation When I try that, I get the following messages: # Initializing calendar data... # Initializing store... # Setting default agent configuration... # ERROR: Couldn't write data # ERROR: couldn't write /config/manager # ERROR: Couldn't set acls on /config/manager And then I'm kind of stuck. Is there more documentation to be found, or maybe help here on the list? Anyways, your issue is a known one on x86_64 which at this time has no fix. Sorry for the bad news, but it is being worked on. Could you confirm how you installed Bongo, RPM or SVN and what version? Yep - just subscribed to the list mentioned there. Will direct further communications that way. > Anyways, your issue is a known one on x86_64 which at this time has no fix. > Sorry for the bad news, but it is being worked on. Could you confirm how you > installed Bongo, RPM or SVN and what version? As I mentioned above, I installed via YaST, meaning that I installed whatever version was avalaible that way. I've just looked it up, and according to YaST it was '0.1.0+svn54-8.1'. I've just tried installing it from source - came a little longer - but it still doesn't work. However, let's move further discussion to the Bongo list.
