report_purchase_order is not generating

Hello Nathan,

when I try to generate perp_ap>>reports>>report_purchase_order, selecting a supplier and one of his invoices, it generate a document with this:

TinyButStrong Error in field [order.our_contact.n_fn...] : item before 'n_fn' is neither an object nor an array. Its type is NULL. This message can be cancelled using parameter 'noerr'.

I've checked and yes, there is an address for the "Our contact" selected. A curiosity: despite of this field shows a list of contacts, don't mind what contact I choose, when I save purchase order it ever returns to the same contact.

I'm translating reports and observed that it not allows the use of some special characters like "ã", "á", b. These special characters generated the above error. Now the reports are all working, but it is very important to Portuguese language using these characters.
Can you do something about this?

Another question: on report_purchase_order, several fields are not filled when generate. Attached a file of this report.Pedido+de+Compra+12052009_0023+-6.odt

This is a purchase order that has one line and total of $ 32,90

Can you be more specific?
Are you translating the OOo report templates, or using the translation  
tools, or something else?

The reports should handle multibyte characters since SVN r3187

If they don't show up automatically in the list to be translated,

Which SVN revision are you using?
Make sure it's >= 3520, and you're testing with the english templates.

Something is going really wrong with this one.
It looks like it got half done, which is weird because you still got a  
report.
Check your logs for any interesting messages.
Also try un-commenting /perp_ap/inc/report/
class.summary_aged_accounts_payable.inc.php, line 266 and send the  
output.

Observe that in the first report below, the name of first supplier has special characters the problem with some informations (on Totals) happens.

However, when I edited the supplier name and deleted the special characters...

The same happens with report_supplier_transactions and all other reports. If anyone of datasources os fildes have a special character, the report not works correctly.

This appears to be a machine specific issue.
I changed the name of one of our suppliers to match yours, Test-
supplier ê ã á
The report was generated correctly.
You might want to check your mbstring settings, and your .htaccess  
file for egroupware.
Ours has mbstring.func_overload 0 for PHP, .htaccess has  
mbstring.func_overload 7
