ringer on nslu2

I have set up Asterisk and it is working well.

The problem is that when I get a incoming call, the NSLU2 generates a
ring sound. Is there a way to turn this off?

What ring sound?
The ring back sound (heard by the calling party) is not generated on
the NSLU2. This is normally generated by the calling SIP UA (phone) or
by the terminating exchange if the call comes from PSTN.
