I keep getting the following error message:

The only thing we haven't changed are the host adapters and cables. I thought maybe it's a bad tape, but I wouldn't have expected a bad tape to cause scsi kernel messages. Forgot to mention, it's a RH7.3 system running 2.4.20-43.7.legacysmp kernel.
