Hello developers,

Name  : Kirubakaran.S
Chennai , India
College of Engineering Guindy, Anna university

I would like to help in developing patches and fixing bugs.

I am a newcomer ( since I m pursuing my undergraduate studies), Amazingly this
is my first open source initiative and I am sure I will definitely learn
a lot and contribute towards Bugzilla.

I am quite comfortable with PHP, java. I m in learning mode of CGI/PERL

Other skills can be like managing projects, fixing time line and interacting with
  developers.I am a quick learner.

since I am a new comer, I am confused where to start?. Right now I am learning
tons of code in API documentation. Can anyone pls guide me how to be comfortable
  with bugzilla?

  Thank you
  Happy developing "Bugzilla" :)

Probably the best thing to do is to look through the list of "Intro
Bugs" and just try to fix one. That will get you experience reading and
writing Bugzilla's code.

Hello there;

BUGZILLA has perl modules in it...it does not have some piece of coding in perl involved...however knowing perl might help you in customizing bugzilla .

Bugzilla is error tracking tool.

if you need to get a feel of it......u should go to bugzilla.org and click on the link of sample bugzilla running to work on it and see how to work on bugzilla.and in case you want to install bugzilla you will have to search google for bugzilla installation on your system(this is what i did).

The installation is pretty simple and u will just have basic computer knowledge to work around it.

Thanking you
