Hi Ankita,

Which version of Gbrowse are you using?  Do you mean you are checking your gbrowse server from other computers?  If you have dragged the tracks to appear in a particular order, this information is stored in a session specific to your browser and computer.  If you use the 'bookmark this' link near the top of the page, all of your track positions, etc can be reproduced by saving the complete URL query string, which contains the session ID and other display options.

Hi Ankita,

Please always CC the list so other can benefit from these threads.
Your feedback is quite vague and makes it hard to work out what your problem is.  If I understand correctly "on system" means your own computer and someone else has installed gbrowse on a diffrent server and the two do not look the same.   If this is the case, you can't control how the other gbrowse is configured but you can tweak your own installation using the options described here:
http://gmod.org/wiki/GBrowse_Configuration_HOWTO
and by going through the tutorial:
http://gmod.cvs.sourceforge.net/*checkout*/gmod/Generic-Genome-Browser/docs/tutorial/tutorial.html?pathrev=stable

Hi,

This time i did CC , sorry i made this mistake several times , i know threads are very useful , i will take care of this in future. yes i mean to say that my computer has 1.69 but i dont know about sever's Gbrowse version , i also bookmark the page and copied it to server's url bar , it worked same as on my computer , but i am using same config files for both my own computer and server , i am not getting exactly where i have to make changes , either server setting need changes as config files dont in my opinon , as i am using same for both.
