So, with SMARTY and CPAINT this is a disaster...
I can't use the function return_data() function. So ... this is not working... I don't see why anyone would use CPAINT with any
templating engine. There is no thing as templating with CPAINT. Its either plaintext or XML so to say. CPAINT provides very decent functions that aid you in proper XML generation. So maybe if you provide more details about the actual problem we might be able to help you.
