If you want the "phree" DVD's just come for the TSM this Saturday, and collect a copy of openSUSE Linux from the volunteers. With this permanent solution, you can spend your available time acquiring skills that will help you learn the subject, work on a project and get ahead in life. thanks Saifi. |

Re: solution neededHi Raviteja,
Even I faced a similar problem a year ago...It might be a hardware problem. Please share your system configuration,OS etc., as they'll be useful to identify the problem. thanks, SMS On Tue, Jul 7, 2009 at 3:32 PM, raviteja kvs <raviteja_972@...>wrote: > > > My system automatically shutdown s after continous use of 4to 5 hours.... Dear Saifi, out of my own curiousity, how does PC-BSD or Linux help? Does it change the ACPI settings or something similar? I had a similar problem a few years ago, and it turned out to be a RAM overheat. Windoze would just restart out of the blue. I changed the RAM chips so that instead of 1x512 MB, I had 2x256 MB. I also added a cabinet fan. Then, Windoze started functioning as properly as it usually does. :) > > If you want the "phree" DVD's just come for the TSM this > Saturday, and collect a copy of openSUSE Linux from the > volunteers. > > With this permanent solution, you can spend your available time > acquiring skills that will help you learn the subject, work on a > project and get ahead in life. > > thanks > Saifi. > -- Anirudh R (tarantinofan.wordpress.com) "There nearly always is method in madness. If you're truly worried about heating issues the two things to do are: 1. open the PC cabinet and remove the side casings 2. blow out the fine dust that has settled on the board and sink The rest of the symptoms are because of 'software PIRACY' ! thanks Saifi. |

My computer never BSODed.
