some suggestions

Hi,

Though I have got Acroread installed, I mainly use Evince for viewing
documents - the performance is the biggest advantage, really love it.
Still I would have some suggestions for improvement:

1. I wish I could choose If I want to view the first page on the left
or the right side in double view.  Some documents have got cover while
others don't.  On default the first page on the right which may
sometimes break the proper arrangement of pages. - Adobe reader has
got this feature.
2. I really miss autoscroll under middle button click - It's
convienient in Firefox and Adobe Reader.  Why not implement it here?

Looking foward to next versions.

Regards.

Thanks for using Evince.

Well, it's an issue, indeed. We have a bug report about this problem. Please
add yourself there to CC list if you want to get updates.

There is autoscroll in context menu, please try it.

Hi Paweł,

Thanks for your feedback.

We have discussed this before, and we are not sure whether this is desired
and doable with the current UI. Evince does not have a preference window,
and will not have one either. (Slightly related:

The context menu (right click menu) provides an autoscroll option. Wrt. the
middle mouse button: Evince adheres to standard Gnome behaviour, which is
scrolling/panning, not autoscroll.

To be honest I think this feature is a must.  There's no need to use
any preferences dialog, simple icon on the toolbar would be enough.

I know there is autoscrolling, but I wish I could have it under the
middle click.
Anyway, goodluck with the development!
