Yeah as u said speech recognition and image processing (Graphics ) have been the hottest topics these days and also not to mention Data Engineering :) which is too much of DBMS I guess . But my concern is , since I have experience working in IT with Embedded Systems with Linux OS , doing my masters in Data Engineering or the above mentioned things will be like putting my leg altogether into a fresh pond :( I just want to map the things with the experience I already have and with the things I want to master on . Be it anything related to performance or High Computing or anything of that sort :) Hope this doesnt confuse you . -- Thanks & Regards, Siddu ------------------------------------ IRC #twincling on irc.freenode.net Yahoo! People keen to do research would look at the problems as they exist today and not as enumerated in the papers 10 yrs ago. Approaches and algorithms conceptualized are implemented best on the best platform be it - BSD or OpenSolaris or WRK etc. thanks Saifi. |
