On Ubuntu Server 12.04

Whenever I try to use the spellchecker I got this error:

Error executing ` -a --lang=es_ES --encoding=utf-8 -H < /tmp/aspell_data_smL9AE 2>&1`
sh: -a: command not found

Even changing to english:

Error executing ` -a --lang=en_US --encoding=utf-8 -H < /tmp/aspell_data_mJmzaN 2>&1`
sh: -a: command not found



Any hint, what should I do?
