Hi, There.
Can anyone there let me know what is latest stable version of Gconf.
What is difference in Gconf2.6. and 2.16 or 2.18.

Please help me out on this issue.
Thanx in advance

gconf 2.18 is the current stable release for the GNOME platform. gconf
2.16 was the previous stable release. both use corba as the IPC
mechanism.

gconf-dbus is a "fork" of gconf using d-bus as the IPC mechanism instead
of corba; it started off at gconf 2.6, afair, but now it has been
resynced with gconf 2.16.

ciao,
 Emmanuele.
