strange issue with Citrix

since a week we have strange problems in our farm with around 450 clients.
During a Citrix Session it seems that the Thinclient is hanging. No Keyboard action will be accepted or come with a long time difference viewable on the desktop. If we break the session and start it again, without booting the thinclient everything goes back to normal. This problem we have only with the thinclients, not with the windows fat clients.
the logs on the thinclients looking ok nothing strange here and we havent changed there something in the last weeks and in the moment i have no clue, where i could start to investigate. The farm should normally have no performance problems. around 20 clients are on the servers. The connections to the client are sometimes 100Mbit... Another strange thing is that the problems start around a hour after the clients have started.
Has someone an idea, where i could start my investigations?

seems we found  it out. It was a low performance virtualized running "WhatsUP" Server and the servers were reacting to slow. Now everything is going back to normal.

But i have another question.
We use session and user conf placed on the local hard disks of our thinclients. The folder is "thinstation.profile" thats longer as 8 signs, but we use fat16. It works fine, but sometimes i found a client with weird signs and files in this folder. Should i change this in the future?

The 8+3 file name length doesn't come from FAT, but DOS' command.com.
Long file names are fine with FAT.
The odd files you can delete. I don't know how they appear, but never
had trouble when deleting them.
