support for dirac/schroedinger?

hi,

i would like to know if support for dirac/schroedinger in icecast is
planned or somewhat considered.
do you think is it possible to add a new format? any show-stoppers?
starting from zero, could you point me to documentation of icecast
internals (in particular related to new formats implementation?

Dirac is certainly a possibility. If you are talking of that being in an
ogg container then you probably want to look at theora as a reference.
