synchronize repository functionalityAm I missing something or there is no way to do a "synchronize repository" as in Eclipse IDE with smartSVN? Using "Show Changes" only shows local changes. I want to see both local changed AND remote changes.
So I can then determine which files I want to update and which I don't. I'm trying to avoid the problem where you update and (unlike CVS) all files get auto-merged and conflict files are now just big diff outs. If the Eclipse SVN plugin can handle this I'm sure smartSVN can I just don't know how. Thanks, Bryan ------------------------------------ Yahoo! When I open a project my listings are automatically refreshed. I have the display columns set to sort by "Local State" and "Remote State" so I see all changed files (both my local ones and the repository ones) listed at the top. The problem I was having is that I use smartSVN with 20 Eclipse projects (multiple working copies) and so the "refresh remote state" icon is usually not visible just the "refresh local filesystem". So my Remote State was blank on more than half the files even though I had set in Preferences>Actions>Refresh "Refresh Remote state with local Refresh". That's a bug, right?? So for now I have to manually highlight each project and manually refresh. ------------------------------------ Yahoo! When opening this project, the status bar should display something like "Querying Cache", then "Local Refreshing" and then "Remote Refreshing". The associated tool tip shows more information on the currently refreshed directory. After the "Remote Refreshing" step has been finished, the "Remote State" column should be filled. So can you please use Help|Enable Connection Logging after all working copies have been scanned, then perform Refresh Remote State, wait until it has finished, then immediately exit SmartSVN and send the resulting connection.log directory to us?
