syncronization between SBC and HC12

hello.
I have a single board computer (TS-5500) running linux. The SBC request data from my hc12 by sending a specific character through serial port. When Hc12 receives this character, it will send a series of characters through the serial port. The problem I am facing is that sometimes the hc12 will miss this request data command from hc12 and therefore will not send data. Any idea why is this happening. Note that the serial of hc12 is interrupt based, and the hc12 board is receiving around 4 more interrupts from different sensors.

I appreciate your help

Thank you ,
MAS

Could it be the SCI mask bug present in some chips?

In some occations the SCI can miss to generate an interrrupt on incomming
characters.

I think this has been all fixed now but you might have an old chip.
