terracottaCan somebody tell me if it is safe to use the current version of RIFE with Terracotta for JVM clustering?
Or do I have to wait for an updated version of RIFE? Among the RIFE users, are there developers who felt that using Hibernate with RIFE was an overkill and switched back to built-in ORM features of RIFE? Tx, - needihom. |

Re: terracottaHi, it's best to use a snapshot. I'm on the brink to release a new version, just have trouble finding to time to actually do the last things that are needed. Hope this helps, Geert On 09 Jun 2008, at 13:18, needihom wrote: > > > Can somebody tell me if it is safe to use the current version of > RIFE with > Terracotta for JVM clustering? > Or do I have to wait for an updated version of RIFE? > > Among the RIFE users, are there developers who felt that using > Hibernate > with RIFE was an overkill and switched back to built-in ORM features > of > RIFE? -- Geert Bevin Terracotta - http://www.terracotta.org Uwyn "Use what you need" - http://uwyn.com RIFE Java application framework - http://rifers.org Music and words - http://gbevin.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "rife-users" group. Re: terracottaHello, I personally think Hibernate would be overkill, but I guess it depends on if you are required to use Hibernate for your project or not. RIFE's persistence manager is perfect for my projects, and it's nice to utilize the full RIFE stack if possible. I am excited for the new release :) Coat On Jun 9, 5:18 am, needihom <noordmi...@...> wrote: > Can somebody tell me if it is safe to use the current version of RIFE with > Terracotta for JVM clustering? > Or do I have to wait for an updated version of RIFE? > > Among the RIFE users, are there developers who felt that using Hibernate > with RIFE was an overkill and switched back to built-in ORM features of > RIFE? > > Tx, > - needihom. > -- > View this message in context:http://www.nabble.com/terracotta-tp17705424s9330p17705424.html > Sent from the RIFE - users mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
