I watched the Sakai 3 demo this morning with a group of colleagues here at Texas State and we were all very impressed with what has been accomplished and what may be coming in the future.

Thank you to Peter for the demo, and to all the people involved that are making Sakai 3 possible.

We hope to contribute some faculty use cases in the near future to aid the development effort.

I would just like to second Salwa's comments.  There is a lot of
excitement there about what Sakai 3 represents which we are now working to
translate into folks contributing a lot more to this effort.

I'm looking forward to engaging in more sustained and detailed discussions
with the "using sakai" groups about Sakai 3 over the coming weeks and
months.

Indeed.  And did anyone take notes, and do we have any more joint
meetings scheduled, or meetings of the End-User Support group?  If not,
we will just wait for further developments while we work on other
projects, yes?

And if I could press for one more detail here:  The "sakai-user" Collab
group, and list, is given on the Confluence pages for both the general
Sakai-User group and the more specific End-User Support group.  Does
End-User Support have a different list now?  I don't think so...
there's no distinct group to join in Collab.  So we're also waiting for
that development, right?

The End-User Support Working Group's email address is end-user-support@...<mailto:end-user-support@...>.  The group's area in Confluence is linked in a couple places on the Using Sakai page, as well as popular pages or recently updated pages having to do with that topic being highlighted on the Using Sakai page.

Okay, thanks.  I'm just going to nip off and put that, prominently, on
this page:

http://bugs.sakaiproject.org/confluence/display/ESUP/End-User+Support+Working+Group

And now I'll stop fussing and filling Inboxes.  :-)
