thinkpad 380D error

I have a thinkpad 380D laptop that was working fine until recently. Now, when I turn it on, I get error codes 0601 and 0603, and a window opens up to change the date and time. When I fill in the data and click OK, instead of Windows loading, the laptop reboots and returns to the error codes and date/time window. Any suggestions as to what the problem might be?
