thinstation.conf.user not beeing processedHello,
I am trying to use thinstation 2.2.2 prebuild to connect to our VMware View Server. Basically it works. But I need another keyboard map. So I created a thinstation.conf.user in thinstation.profile. After that I created a new ISO and burned this to a CD. But it does not work. It looks like that the .user file is not found. When I browse the CD (under Windows) I can see the folder thinstation.profile with the file in it beside the [BOOT] folder. Any help would be appreciated. Re: thinstation.conf.user not beeing processedI'm not exactly sure what you're trying to do, but if you have configuration you want reflected in your final image, you could make these changes to the thinstation.conf.builttime , run a build, then burn THAT ISO to a CD. Re: thinstation.conf.user not beeing processedI wanted to use the http://www.thinstation.org/LiveCD/ http://www.thinstation.org/download/2.2/Thinstation-2.2.2-LiveCD.vmview.exe
In this file there is a documentation to recreate to ISO with a thinstation.conf.user. However, this file is not processed. So it seems that I will have to make my own build. Since I have never done this before, I hope it is not that difficult. It should read the \thinstation.profile\thinstation.conf.user file from your CD. The base image uses the LiveCD.build.vmview & LiveCD.buildtime.vmview files from within the BuildFiles directory in the download. Can you post the contents of your thinstation.conf.user file?
