thread safety in independent problems

Is lp_solve thread safe for independent problems?

I'm running multiple computations right now, and everything seems to be
working (i.e. it isn't crashing).  But, the info that a quick search for
``lp_solve thread safety'' is a bit conflicting.

The latest version should be. There were some issues in the not so far past, but they should all be resolved.
