<br>It's the "Exact copy sources" option (also causing the
<br>white square boxes). When active, this option will not
<br>use the latest change (rev 68 in your case) as the copy
<br>source. Instead it will report exactly, what the log
<br>command returns as "copy-from-revision".
<br><br>That revision can basically be any from 68 upward
<br>(all of them are equivalent wrt. to their content).
<br>If you used the repository browser and it happened
<br>to display rev 74 when the copy was made, this

Bob, thanks for your answers, I just want as good of an understanding as
possible so when I try to explain it I am doing it correctly. I know the copy
was of rev 68, but a copy isn't committed is it? I see no trace of a copy in
the log.<br>

graphic doesn't show the bottom of the leftmost column which would be the

<br><br>The path to the repo should be displayed in the repo browser which you seemed to be able to open.
<br><br>Also, if that is the path to your repository then you should NOT be importing that folder. once you create the repository you don't touch that folder or its contents. Create a new folder like
<br><br>But, it seems like you missed step 1 in section 3.5.1 of the help:
<br><br>1. create a new empty folder on your hard drive
<br><br>2. create your desired top-level folder structure inside that folder - don't put any files in it yet!
<br><br>3. import this structure into the repository via a right click on the folder and selecting TortoiseSVN → Import... This will import your temp folder into the repository root to create the basic repository layout.
<br><br><br>Step one really means a NEW folder. Not your repository folder. As I said, once you create your repo don't touch it again. Hands off.

<br><br>There's nothing to fix. Those dlls haven't really changed (they have the
<br>same version info), so msi detects that and leaves the old files in
<br>place (I guess you checked the file dates to figure out that they
<br>weren't updated?).

</div><br>The cache saves its data to disk when it is closed. That usually happens
<br>when you log off or shut down your computer. On the next start, it reads
<br>that data back from disk and removes the saved data from the disk
<br>afterwards. So you won't see that saved data file since the cache is
<br>started by explorer, i.e. as soon as the desktop is visible.

I'm having problems where regular usage of my computer is resulting in
occasional crashes (don't have a report zip file because that hasn't happened
for a while) but it is also having frequent runaway resource usage.<br>
<br>
About every hour or two my computer will become extremely slow and the
TortoiseSVN process appears to be the culprit with very high usage of both CPU
and memory. I've gotten in the habit of routinely killing the process
(which seems to start itself again later). I'm not sure how large the
process gets anymore since I kill it early on in its life now.
Previously, when I was afraid to just end the process, I saw it grow to well
over 500 megs of memory.<br>

I'm using TortoiseSVN 1.6.6. I think the problems started for me when I
upgraded (but I don't remember my previous version).<br>
<br>
I'm not sure how much of this is related to the version of Tortoise and how
much is my projects. I have admittedly large projects that use
TortoiseSVN. Example: <a href="http://www.ohloh.net/p/wikia" target="_top" rel="nofollow">http://www.ohloh.net/p/wikia</a>
(it says about 2 million lines in about 3,000 files).<br>

Is there possibly a bug in SVN or is my usage just beyond what it is built to

<br><br>Otherwise it sounds very much like a server problem, in which case you
<br>have to ask on the subversion users mailing list instead.

<br>the results (which would make sense IMO) or not.
