I am forced to use the community zd1211 driver (not zd1211rw) because I
must use an old linux kernel (2.6.10).
The USB device (Belkin) I am using works reasonably well with the
zd1211rw driver on my laptop. However, at the same range, using the
community zd1211 driver, the device doesn't appear to have enough
transmit range/power to get to my access point (it can see the access
point, but the access point cannot see it -- verified with kismet).
Is there something I can change in the community driver to adjust/fix
the transmit range?
Thanks,
Jeff
