turbo inlet
Can some one tell me how the turbos will be measured? And can you have a 101 and a neck down to 91. This is allowed in all the other class that i run just checking if it is that way here to.
Also can we have aftermarket steering columns?

Re: turbo inlet
Most clubs measure 1/16th of an inch away from the compressor wheel. If it measures more than 91 MM or if the leading edge is more than a 1/16th away from the compressor wheel then the turbo is illegal in most clubs. That's how TTT5 measures, but they only allow an 88 MM.

Re: turbo inlet
i was hoping that is how it would be measured like all the other clubs. Just trying to make sure it is the same here.

Re: turbo inlet
Tim, I think it is legal to neck it down, I'll check with Ricky and let you know for sure.

Re: turbo inlet
How much can we be over 360 cu in according to the pump and still be legal? Maybe I can win enough money this year in prostreet to get a new shortblock!!!LOL

Re: turbo inlet
Tommy that heap isnt going to win any money. The guys at precision told me that with a 91 they only need to be a max of 375 inch after that you will start losing hp. They said 360 in motor would be idea and build more power than my 427 so im build a new motor for sure.

Re: turbo inlet
Hey Tim, you can use a bigger turbo and neck down to 91. We have a member running that type of set-up. We approved that at one of our very first meeting when we were starting up the association. Your good to go.
