unicorn: a new validator from w3c------ FORWARDED MESSAGE -----
From: Jean-Guilhem Rouel <jean-gui@...> Date: Thu, 01 Oct 2009 19:43:38 +0200 Message-ID: <4AC4EA4A.9030807@...> To: "public-qa-dev@... list" <public-qa-dev@...> Hi all, Unicorn aims to provide the big picture about the quality of a Web page, by gathering the results of several tools (markup validator, CSS validator, ...) into a single cohesive interface. This project started in 2006 and today is an important milestone as many improvements have been made to Unicorn recently thanks to Thomas Gambet, an intern at W3C Europe. A changelog [1] and roadmap [2] are available. First of all, I'd like to thank Thomas for all the work he has done in the past 2.5 months and is still doing until the end of October. We are now seeking feedback. Unicorn is available at http://qa-dev.w3.org/unicorn. Please try it out and send your feedback to public-qa-dev@.... If you enjoy it, feel free to use it on a regular basis, but bear in mind this is a development instance and subject to change. We hope to move it into production in the near future. Thanks, Jean-Gui [2] http://www.w3.org/QA/Tools/Unicorn/changelog [3] http://www.w3.org/QA/Tools/Unicorn/roadmap |

RE: unicorn: a new validator from w3cThis sounds good. I skimmed the documentation and did not find mention
of making Unicorn available as a web service (ideally, a RESTful-type of service that is easy for developers to use). Can anyone here report whether this is planned in addition to the manual, web form interface? Jamal -----Original Message----- From: w3c-wai-ig-request@...
