I have swig 1.3.31 installed on my machine and I'm trying to update to 1.3.40 but when I do a "sudo make install" it doesn't replace the old version (confirmed with swig -version). I can't figure out how to uninstall swig because I deleted the tar and the director for swig 1.3.31. How do I uninstall swig??
