This can happen for a couple of reasons. One, is that there might not be a
usable Name, ServiceInfo etc Entry in your registration. Two, it might be at a
lower level that the codebase which is associated with your service/JVM is not a
reachable URL.
Can you show us how the JoinManager is being used for registering the service
and what your services codebase URL looks like? You can also use your web
browser to check the URL by copying and pasting it into your web browser. Use
copy and paste to make sure you copy any typos or other not-so-obvious errors
for your web browser to encounter too.
