update from 5.2 RC1 to 5.2 GA

Hi All,

 

Our group is currently using nuxeo 5.2 RC1 in a production environment. I know it's not deal. RC1 is working ok ... but we want to move to 5.2 GA for obvious reasons. In our test environment, I've installed 5.2 GA and switched the db connection to our existing 5.2 RC1 mysql nuxeo database.

 

When I log in to 5.2 GA, I do not see documents created from the 5.2 RC1 instance. If I create a new document within the 5.2 GA instance, I do not see it in the 5.2RC1 instance.

 

Is there a database update to go from RC1 to GA? Maybe this is documented? Any help is appreciated.

Problem solved ... after removing the data directory, on restart, the
document tree and documents are visible. I think the server had to
rebuild metadata after the server was first started with the original
default backend repository.

One odd behavior ... when I click on the 'Personal Workspace' link, the
log has this error:
ERROR [MetaMethodExpression] Error processing action expression
#{userWorkspaceManagerActions.navigateToCurrentUserPersonalWorkspace}:
javax.el.ELException: org.nuxeo.ecm.core.api.RollbackClientException:
org.nuxeo.ecm.core.api.ClientException: Failed to create document
UserWorkspaces

If I click on the Default Domain link, then click 'Personal Workspace',
I get the expected page without this error. If I log out and log in,
click the same Personal Workspace link, I get the error. Fortunately, a
workaround exists but I'm curious if there is a config change that may
fix this.
