ok im new to this i downloaded the new update but it opens in archive manager and my old version is still the one that opens up im usin hardy heron did i do something wrong

Remove your archive manager's version of gtk-gnutella, download the latest stable version from the gtk-gnutella web site, and compile it yourself using the provided instructions.
