upload XPDL to Shark server within the JaWE editor

Shark authors,

it would be nice if after a small change in an xpdl within JaWE, it would be possible to quickly update this xpdl within Shark via a simple click.

Or some other solution which would make the editor and admin client more closely integrated.

Within FUjitsu Interstage workflow editor (upload to engine and engine config dialog), such function is and it is very useful.

Hi,

this is possible when using JaWE's professional version which has WfXML
plug-in component (the demo version also has some limited functionality
for this component) and SharkWebClient application which exposes WfXML
web services.

Greetings,
Sasa.

No able to unload old XPDL packages from shark

[shark] Re: upload XPDL to Shark server within the JaWE editor
Hi Sasa,
Sorry for a direct email to you but I am in a big trouble. We have uploaded many versions of our XPDL to shark engine and now shark engine has become very slow. And we can not upload upcoming XPDL version also. I have deleted all the previous processes from SharkWebClient admin site. But still I am not able to unload previous XPDLs. Can you tell how to unload these XPDLs? Is there any other way?

Thanks in advance,
Rohan

Hi,

what is the exception that you get when trying to upload/unload versions?

Maybe you run out of the memory? You should setup Tomcat to use more memory.

Regards,
Sasa.

Hi,
Thanks for a reply.
It does not give any error while UNLOADING a package. How do I remove all the references?

Well, if package is referenced by another package it can't be unloaded until all the packages that are referencing it are unloaded.

Sasa.

I am sure that this package is not referenced by any other packages.

Anyway, how do I find whether this package is referenced by other packages?

Shark internally checks it...no public API to do it yourself.
