uprading from knoda 0.7.4 Mandriva KDE to 0.8.3 ubuntu gnome;
I copied all the files of my knoda database in the new computer, in /var/lib/mysql/, the same place as previously. Knoda works, see the data files, but not the request, form or report files. I created a new form, closed and reopened Knoda, I see it from Knoda, but I am unable to locate it on the new computer (the search function readily finds the data files, and the old form files, but not the one from the new form..... is there a totally different to store forms in the last knoda? thanks for any help I continue this message because I found the "lost" files on copied them in the right place under Ubuntu But now Knoda complains that my linux being debian I should check if the packet hk_classes-python is installed. Indeed this package is not listed in ubuntu....does anyone knows were it is available? ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sponsored by: SourceForge.net Community Choice Awards: VOTE NOW! Knoda installation olvides a packet. So you've to install python-hk_classes, and knoda runs! I put this message in copy to a further intervenant in this list, who complained about something similar one year ago. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sponsored by: SourceForge.net Community Choice Awards: VOTE NOW!
