using debug build memory leak detection tools without assertions

Hello,
I wrote one extension and I need to trace ref counts and detect memory
leaks. Problem is, that the tools I know about are usable only with
debug build of ff. When I build such one I'm getting a tons of
assertions about non thread-safety of components like nsIURI instance,
nsIMutableArray instance and so on.
Can anyone help me to get through this?
