using gossip function

Hi


I'm using the gossip fucntion in order to save some data on the gossip.txt file. It works fine but, the gossip.txt file is reseted every time the tomcat server is reestarted.

Is there any chance to avoid this?

Is there any other way to save this onfo like the gossip function does?
