wacomcpl feel and restore

two things im trying to figure out. first one is getting wacomcpl to
restore its set properties on reboot / poweron / login.
the only tutorials i can find are for umbuntu which use
System>Preferences>Startup Applications... but that does not apply to
debian lenny. as far as i know.

second is right now my erase and pen click force settings are tied to
each other. what steps are needed to break the connection between the
two?

yep, ive done all the parts until System>Preferences>Startup Applications
but still have to restore the wacom preferences.

I believe the basic Gnome applet is Preferences->Sessions
