websiteHi there.
I haven't been active at all, but it seems progress is made. I think it also might be time to drop the existing website at sourceforge and move the a simple page over at Gnome live wiki? regards, Robin _______________________________________________ gnome-mud-list mailing list gnome-mud-list@... http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-mud-list |

Re: websiteHi Robin!
Your new surname still makes you look like a stranger to my eyes. :) On Mon, Jul 21, 2008 at 11:08:05AM +0200, Robin Helgelin wrote: > I haven't been active at all, but it seems progress is made. Yes, Les has revamped the last bits for 0.11. Our plan is to release it so people can test it and later on re-add the lost features in the rewrite. The idea is to have 0.11 in the next days. > I think it also might be time to drop the existing website at > sourceforge and move the a simple page over at Gnome live wiki? Funny that you ask: 12:04 < jordim> README: <URL:http://amcl.sourceforge.net/> 12:04 < jordim> heh, this needs to change :) 12:05 < les> want to point it to the wiki page for now? 12:05 < les> gnome-mud.org is still available ;) 12:05 < jordim> not "for now", I think we can make it the official webpage 12:05 < les> sounds good 12:05 < jordim> shrug, having it in the wiki allows us to maintain it easily 12:06 < les> yeah i like the wiki That happened 10 minutes ago on IRC. What a coincidence ;) Happy to see you again around! The regressions from 10.7 are: Python support, Key Bindings, Variables, MCCP Python support will come back in 0.12 with the plugin api rewrite. Variables will return sooner than that in a 0.11 point release, I'll add them in when I rework the ui for the trigger/aliases. MCCP should also be in a 0.11 release. In my local tree it's in a "mostly working" state but currently telnet subnegotiation is fubared with MCCP enabled so that needs to be fixed first. Key Bindings, also most likely a point release feature. There's a ton of new features in there and, as stated, a few regressions. I'm fairly proud of the work that's been done for .11 thus far. It gives us a nice base to start pushing towards 1.0. What a coincidence ;) Yeah :) Do you still have access to sf web or do you want me to fix it? A simple redirection to http://live.gnome.org/GnomeMud would be enough? > Happy to see you again around! Thanks, just don't expect me to code, it was years ago since I ran a Linux desktop :) regards, Robin _______________________________________________ gnome-mud-list mailing list gnome-mud-list@... http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-mud-list |

Yes, the wiki feature list is impressive, and I love the 256 color screenshot :). The new codebase using gobjects instead of the old hack will hopefully ease development even further. Maybe I'll take a stab of doing a windows binary installment, do you think people would like that? regards, Robin _______________________________________________ gnome-mud-list mailing list gnome-mud-list@... http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-mud-list |
