why job status doesn't change?

My job is in dynamic temp-disp, explicit anlysis. At the beginning it calculates smoothly but after 20000000increments the increment still increase while the steptime/LPF keep still.
What causes this? How can I make the step time/LPF change so that I can see more result.

Look in your *.sta file.  Most likely the stable time increment is
decreasing, due to element deformation or material property changes.
There's not much you can do about it other than to modify the model so
the stable time increment isn't reduced so much (e.g., introduce a
damage model and use ELEMENT DELETION=YES so that failed/deformed
elements are removed).
