windows odditiesAppears that on doze both jruby.bat and jruby.exe are provided--is that
expected? (in the end, only jruby.exe ever gets run, I believe). Also, I did note that the installer installs to an old version number. C:\installs\jruby-1.4.0RC1\bin>jruby -v jruby 1.4.0RC2 (ruby 1.8.7 patchlevel 174) (2009-10-21 7e77f32) (Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.6.0_13) [x86-java] Thanks! -r -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this list, please visit: http://xircles.codehaus.org/manage_email |

(in the end, only jruby.exe ever gets run, I believe). I think that jruby.bat is there for compatibility reasons. So that if somebody used jruby.bat in the past, they could continue to do so with to breakage. > Also, I did note that the installer installs to an old version number. > > C:\installs\jruby-1.4.0RC1\bin>jruby -v > jruby 1.4.0RC2 (ruby 1.8.7 patchlevel 174) (2009-10-21 7e77f32) (Java > HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.6.0_13) [x86-java] Ah, indeed, thanks for noticing! :) --Vladimir --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this list, please visit: http://xircles.codehaus.org/manage_email |
