wmlbrowser preferencesHi, probably being a bit thick here, but where do i find the edit
preferences menu?? i have installed the program, re-started, but i cant view mobile sites - the instructions say "Following a restart, you should check the wmlbrowser preferences to ensure that the system is set up as you want. Use the Edit->Preferences menu to bring up the Mozilla Preferences window. Choose the wmlbrowser option from the left-hand pane" but i cant find any edit/prferences option . . . . . thanks for any help _______________________________________________ Wmlbrowser mailing list Wmlbrowser@... http://mozdev.org/mailman/listinfo/wmlbrowser |

I think these things can depend on your operating system too. Do you have Tools/Preferences maybe? Message headers show that OP uses Outlook Express so I don't think he's using SeaMonkey which has a decent mail/USENET client built-in. Anyway, IMHO he _should_ use SM or Thunderbird rather than OE ;) . Moreover, Edit > Preferences is found in SM. Therefore, I suppose that he's using Firefox with which Tools > Addons (or a similar word, I'm translating) will open a new window. wmlbrowser should be listed there along with its Options button. Clicking on it will open the Preferences window. HTH. PS: Maybe the project page needs to be updated to take this difference between SM and Firefox into account. -- "Goebbels was in favor of free speech for views he liked. So was Stalin. I thought it already did... http://wmlbrowser.mozdev.org/installation/wmlbrowser.html tries to auto-detect Firefox/suite and deliver appropriate instructions. The Firefox page says "In Firefox, use the Tools/Extensions menu to bring up the Firefox Options window." That needs an update - it's Tools/Add-ons now - but it still doesn't match the instructions that Richard found.
